Working the “One-A-Day”
One of the first coaches I followed, back when I had an active and successful direct sales business, was the wonderful Teresa Garrison of The Success Factory ( http://www.thesuccessfactory.com )
One of her trainings was to work what she called the One-A-Day, to steadily move your business towards success.
This really caught my interest, so I gave it a go.
It really worked! And I’m still using this principle and have adapted it to my other businesses with great success.
You can do this too!
Here’s how it works: Teresa listed 6 items that, if you did just one each day, would grow your business and increase your sales and revenue.
You only need to do one a day, each working day, to get results. Sounds simple, doesn’t it?
It is. It’s all about staying focused, conscious of your goal, and then actually and consistently doing your one.
For direct sellers, her One-A-Day 6 are:
- add a customer
- make a sale
- book a party
- hold a party
- hold a recruiting conversation
- add a team member
For my businesses, my One-A-Day 6 are:
- add a customer to my email list
- book a session
- hold a session
- sell a package
- register a course student
- run a course
How could you adapt this to your business? What 6 revenue and/or growth related One-A-Days can you come up with?
Once you have your list, start working your One-A-Day.
You’ll be so glad you did!
